About

CSRemoteDesk is remote desktop and remote support software for Windows. The design priority has been the same from the beginning: the connection should be encrypted, the data should not be processed on an intermediary server, and the user should not have to fight with router settings.

The product is currently in beta and is being tested with real users.

Privacy note

This website. csremotedesk.com is a static site. There are no accounts, forms or cookie-based tracking, and no personal data is collected from your visit.

The application. Screen, mouse and keyboard, cursor, clipboard and file content are encrypted end to end with AES-256 and — whenever a direct connection can be established — travel between the two computers; that content is never processed or stored on the server. The server does keep machine identifiers, connection records and the card details you enter when connecting (name and email) so that the two sides can find each other and so the person you reach knows who you are. Your "My Connections" address book, your connection history and the logs of connections made to your computer are stored only on your own computer.

An account is optional. The application works fully without one. If you do create an account, only your email address and the list of devices you have signed in from are held on the server; your password is never stored as-is. This is separate from the card details above, which require no sign-in.

Data-protection notice. A separate notice explaining how your personal data is handled ships with the application; it is presented for your consent during installation and on first launch, and is always available from the Settings menu.

If you would like more detail on any of this, email us.
