One package, two ways to use it: run it without installing, or install fully and enable unattended access. The product is currently in beta — please read the two notices below before you download.

The portable version is a single file — it installs nothing and needs no administrator rights. Unattended access and lock screen / UAC control are not available in it.
To connect to your computer from a phone or tablet. The app is the connecting side only: the phone’s screen is not shared. Android 6.0 or later, 64-bit devices. Supplied as an APK; to install it you must allow “install from unknown sources” on the phone. How to use it: section 21 of the guide.
Just run the single file you downloaded. There is no ZIP to extract and no batch file to run — a standard setup wizard opens.
During installation and on first launch two separate documents are shown and accepted separately: (1) a beta participation notice explaining that the programme is voluntary and free, that the software is still being tested, and what the risks are; (2) a personal-data (KVKK) notice explaining how your personal data is handled. If either is declined, the application cannot be used.
The beta notice states plainly that a person connecting to your computer can see your screen, use your keyboard and mouse, and reach your files. Once accepted, you are not asked again within the same version family; if the text changes you are asked afresh. Both documents are always available from the Settings menu.
You do not need to uninstall the old version first. Just run the installer; the running application and service are stopped and updated automatically. Your "My Connections" list, history, unattended access settings and machine ID are all preserved.
You don't even have to visit this page: when a new version ships the app notifies you and you can download and install the update straight from inside the application — see Upgrading to a new version.
CSRemoteDesk is digitally signed, but because it injects
remote mouse and keyboard input, some antivirus products — particularly
Kaspersky, occasionally Windows Defender — may
mistake the CSRemoteDeskHelper.exe component for
"riskware / a remote administration tool" and delete or quarantine it.
This is a false positive. If it is not resolved, however, remote control will not work (you get a picture, but mouse and keyboard do nothing).
What to do:
C:\Program Files\CSRemoteDesk — to your antivirus exclusions.The permanent fix is a code-signing certificate; this notice will be removed once one is in place.
Beta builds stop running 30 days after the date they were compiled. This is deliberate: it keeps unsupervised test builds from lingering in the field.
The download card above shows the build date and the expiry date. If you have downloaded a build that has already expired the application will not start — in that case please get in touch for the current release.
Same package, two scenarios. Decide which one you need before installing.
No installation — you just run CSRemoteDesk.exe. The video encoding library is embedded inside the application, so copying that single file is enough.
Good for: one-off support for someone else; machines where you do not want to install anything permanently.
Limits: works only within the current Windows session. Unattended access is not available, and there is no control on the lock screen or UAC prompts.
A single-file setup wizard installs the app as a Windows service; it can be removed from Settings › Apps like any other program.
Good for: reaching your own computer remotely; connecting to servers and office machines with nobody present.
Only in this mode: unattended access, lock/sign-in screen and UAC control, and operation independent of the logged-in session.
