Limited places · Beta period

Become a beta tester,
use it free for life.

The thing we need most while building CSRemoteDesk is feedback from people who use it for real work. We do not leave that contribution unrewarded: meeting just one of the conditions below earns you lifetime free use for personal purposes.

What you will be testing: the CSRemoteDesk beta release.

How to qualify

Any one of three routes

You do not need to do all of them. Completing any one of the following qualifies you — doing more makes you far more valuable to us, but it is not required.

1

Report a bug

Tell us about at least one bug you have run into. It is enough for us to confirm it — you do not have to wait for the fix.

A small interface glitch counts just as much as a dropped connection. If it is something we already know about, we will say so and you can qualify another way.

2

Suggest a feature

Describe something you would like added. If your suggestion is reviewed and makes it into the product, you qualify.

If it goes onto the roadmap we will let you know, and you will see it credited in the notes of the release that ships it.

3

Spend time testing

Put in at least 8 hours of actual use before the beta ends. Using it for your day-to-day work counts.

You report the time yourself; we do not track you. A short note now and then about what you tried is all we need.

Benefits

What you get as a beta participant

Lifetime free use for personal purposes

Even if the product becomes paid later, you keep using it indefinitely and free of charge for your own personal use. You will not be asked to pay afterwards.

A say in the roadmap

Feature requests from beta participants are reviewed first. You help decide where the product goes next.

Early access to new releases

You try new features before anyone else; release notes and builds come straight to you.

Direct line to the developer

Your issue does not join a call-centre queue. It reaches the person who writes the software, and you get a fast answer.

Your name among the contributors

If you like, your contribution is credited in the release notes and on the site. If you would rather stay anonymous, your name appears nowhere — your choice.

A permanent discount on business licences

The free right covers personal use. If you later want a licence for your company, beta participants get a permanent discount.

Taking part

How do you join?

No membership, no forms, no sign-up. All you have to do is write to us.

  1. Download it and start using it. Get the beta from the download page. Nothing needs to be arranged in advance.
  2. Send your feedback. The easiest way is from inside the app: the "Geri Bildirim Yapın" (send feedback) button on the connection window — or Settings › Geri Bildirim — opens a form. You can also just email us. You are on the list from your first message.
  3. Get your confirmation. Once you have met one of the conditions we confirm it to you in writing. Keep that email — it is the record of your entitlement.

Send it from the app (easiest)

The "Geri Bildirim Yapın" button on the connection window opens a form where you pick a type: bug report, feature suggestion, security issue or general comments. You can format the message, paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V and attach files. Your version, Windows version and ID are filled in automatically, and if you close the form before sending, what you wrote is kept.

Or write to us directly

csarikayaoglu@gmail.com

Putting "Beta Test Programme" in the subject line helps us pick your message out quickly.

If you are reporting a bug, these details speed things up: the version number you are running, your Windows version, whether you used the portable or the full installation, how to reproduce it, and a screenshot if you have one.

Common questions

Do I have to meet all three conditions?

No. Any one of them is enough. Reporting a bug that we confirm qualifies you on its own, and so does an accepted feature suggestion or 8 hours of testing.

What exactly does "free for life" cover?

It covers your own personal use: connecting to your own computers, helping family and friends, and so on. The right does not expire even if the product becomes paid, and you will not be charged later.

The only thing outside it is commercial or business use — running it as part of your company's operations or to serve your customers. For that, beta participants get a permanent discount.

How do you track the 8 hours?

We do not — your own word is what counts. There is no counter watching you. Just tell us now and then what you tested and what did or did not work; those notes are the valuable part anyway.

What if the bug I report is already known?

We will tell you straight away. That particular report will not qualify you, but the other two routes stay open — report another bug, suggest a feature, or take part through testing. We will help you find the route that suits you.

When does the beta programme end?

There is no fixed date; it will end when the product reaches a stable release. We will announce the closure on this page. Entitlements earned before then are unaffected — once you have qualified, it is permanent.

We would suggest joining early: the easy-to-find bugs get scarcer as the beta goes on.

Is running a beta risky?

A beta is a test release; unexpected behaviour and interruptions are possible. Connection security (AES-256 encryption) is active in the beta as well. We would not recommend relying on it as your only option for critical work — keep a backup way in.

Note also that beta builds stop running 30 days after they were compiled; keep an eye on the download page for the current one.
